I’ve been on vacation for the past week, sitting by the water in my swimsuit and SPF 60, taking naps, and reading books. I read three books, all of them on my Kindle. What I loved about that was having all three in one light device instead of packing heavy books in my suitcase. What I didn’t love about it was that, no matter how convenient my Kindle is, it’s just not the same as a book. I miss holding the book, feeling the pages between my fingers, and hearing that amazing and gratifying turn-the-page sound. Now that I’m back, I’ve put my Kindle away, picked up some new books, and looked at this gorgeous book photography by Sand and Petals on Etsy. I’m feeling much better now.
