I have about ten Christmas movies that I watch every year in the weeks leading up to the big day. Love Actually, Elf, Scrooged…I really don’t get tired of watching them. But I’ve often felt guilty that my annual holiday traditions don’t include reading more books. So this year I’m determined to not only watch Christmas movies, but to also read Christmas books.
Here are five Christmas books that I plan on reading before December 25th:
A Christmas Carol
by Charles Dickens
A Child’s Christmas in Wales
by Dylan Thomas
Skipping Christmas
by John Grisham
A Christmas Memory
by Truman Capote
A Christmas Story
by Jean Shepherd
Do you have a favourite book to read around the holidays? I’d love to add more to my list for next year!
