I’ve wanted to read a Poe biography for a long time, so when I heard that Paul Collins (aka The Literary Detective) had released Edgar Allan Poe: The Fever Called Living earlier this year, I knew I would start with that one. It’s just under 150 pages, so a more approachable bio than some of the others I’ve seen. However, Poe’s life was pretty fascinating so I’m pretty sure I’ll go for a more in-depth look one of these days.
