I just picked up How to Host a Dinner Party by Corey Mintz (from the Toronto Public Library) and I can’t wait to start reading it. I love having people over for dinner, but I admit that I always have a bit of anxiety once the invitations have been accepted and the date has been set. Will they like the food? Will everyone get along? Will there be enough dessert? I’m hoping this book will help to put some of fears to rest. And I also hope that Corey’s next book is How to Host a Murder Mystery Dinner Party, because I’ve always wanted to do that.
Here’s an exerpt from How to Host a Dinner Party from the Toronto Star and a funny video demonstration on How to be a good dinner guest from Maclean’s.
