Friday Reads: Make Good Art

Posted by

As soon as I discovered that Neil Gaiman’s 2012 speech to the graduating class of Philadelphia’s University of the Arts had been made into a book, I went right to the bookstore to buy it. Not only is the speech incredible (if you haven’t heard it yet, what are you waiting for?), but the book is designed by Chip Kidd, an incredible designer who gave one of the best TED talks I’ve ever seen. If you have 17 minutes, watch it.

For a closer look at Make Good Art, Brain Pickings did a great post about it. Or you can just buy it and send me cookies as a thank you for telling you about this wonderful book.
