My mom sent me an email the other day. No subject line, no salutation. She’s still getting the hang of the whole email thing. Anyway, in her short, to-the-point email she said that I simply must read The Couple Next Door. She got it from the library and finished reading it in a couple of days. She was so insistent, she even offered to keep her library copy for me so I could get it without having to wait, since the number of holds on the book was well over a thousand. But I already had the audiobook loaded up and ready to go on my iPhone, so I’ve started reading it today. My mom can’t wait for me to finish so we can talk about it.
