I remember hearing once that young adult readers devour their books in one sitting, as opposed to adults who read much slower, if at all. (Sigh). And with books like The Fault in Our Stars by John Green to choose from, it’s no wonder YA readers are so ravenous.
I flipped to the first page of The Fault in Our Stars yesterday while on the subway. Fifty pages later, I was hooked. And I nearly missed my stop. I love it when that happens.
