I didn’t realize The Giver by Lois Lowry is actually the first book in a series called The Quartet, which Lowry completed in 2012 with the release of Son. I just started The Giver this morning but I’m already hooked, so I’m pretty sure that I’ll read the other three books in this series as well. And I’m definitely looking forward to the movie version of The Giver that comes out later this year.
