Smarter London has launched in the UK this month and we cannot wait to tell you all about it. Now that we can finally pack our bags and go away for a few nights, the sky really is the limit. There are so many options to choose from but what is going to be the best one? For me, London is one of the best cities in the world. There are just so many things to do in London – I never get tired of the place. From the culinary offerings to museums, history, architecture and of course the shopping, it really is a city that offers it all.

Smarter London have some wonderful options available in their short let platform with sustainability at the heart – the carbon footprint of each and every stay is offset and the business is the only one in this space going for B Corp certification.

Founded by Guy van der Westhuizen to challenge the status quo set by traditional booking platforms, this month, Smarter London’s most outstanding homes are now available to book for the summer.

Homes range from £200 to £2,000 per night so suit lots of budgets and people will be able to book their places to stay based on voth quality and management service. Here are some of the wonderful options:

The Strand, Covent Garden – for friends and bubbles of 6

The Strand III is a three bedroom, three bathroom penthouse in Covent Garden. Sleekly designed and furnished with the glossiest, most elegant pieces, this home’s open-plan living area is a gorgeous space. It’s made even more striking by its city views, which are best admired from the lofty balcony. The three ensuite bedrooms are just as glamorously done (we especially love the master, with its dramatic black-marble ensuite with it’s very own steam room). You’re in the heart of the city here, within walking distance of some of London’s best museums, galleries and theatres. The nearest tube station, Covent Garden, is only a five-minute walk away.

Wimpole Street, Marylebone – for multi-generational staycations

Wimpole Street is a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Marylebone. This home’s sitting room has a dining table for eight as well as a sophisticated sitting area (decorated in muted colours, with elegant contemporary furnishings and well-chosen artworks). The bedrooms – all clean lines and polished wood – share the same quiet glamour, except for the more playful third bedroom. Right in the heart of Marylebone, you’re close to all of this smart area’s pubs and restaurants. Oxford Street’s shops are within easy reach, as is Regent’s Park. It’s a seven-minute walk to Regent’s Park tube station.

Overlooking Primrose Hill, and so close to Regent’s Park that one might hear bees drowsily bothering the flowerbeds, sits Albert Terrace.
