Summer to-read list

Posted by

I always seem to go into the summer with this long list of things I want to experience before it all comes to an end in September. Bike rides, BBQs, long weekend escapes. Swimming, fireworks, gelato in the park. There never seems to be enough time to do it all but we do our best, don’t we?

In addition to my summertime activity list, I also have a summertime reading list. I always hope to do most of my reading outside in the shade of a tree or under a beach umbrella. But occasionally, reading somewhere while some good old fashioned air conditioning blasts you with cold air is just as satisfying. Since reading is such a big part of my summer, I always make sure to have a big pile of books around so I always have something good at the ready. Here are some of the books I’m hoping to make it through before fall arrives. If you have any suggestions, leave me a comment. There’s always room for one (or ten) more.
